Hangung or Korean Hands Archery or Hands Archery, is the tradition sport which is created by Heo Kwang from Korea. By exercising both hands, you can develop balancing of body between left and right side. and also improve muscle and flexibility. Hangung is combined with Gung-Do, Archery and Darts. Hangung adopt Safe Hangung Pin made of magnetic and automated scoring system. Rule of Hangung is pitching hangung pin toward the hanung board (1~10points) using both hands 5 times each. after pitching your pin, comparing the player's score summed up right and left hands. Finally, the highest scorer is the winner.

Hangung board standard
Hangung scoring system adopts archery scoring system(1~10 points), so It requests high level of concentration. eight-line on the board makes player know the best position of standing and direction of pitching. Hangung board is combined with multi-contact technology and automated scoring system. Hangung board has scoring zone(340mm diameters), Hangung board case(453mm diameters) and scoring section. Hangung board is powered three AA battery.
Hangung pin
Hangung Pin is made of stairs-shaped- magnetic by using ultra sonic waves adhesive method. and wing part is made of soft material, so It is sprinterless. Hangung Pin is authorized by Korea Hangung Association. because all the players participated in any Hangung competitions or events only allow to use Hangung Pin. Tip of Hangung Pin is designed to minimize the scratches. Hangung Pin standard is 8mm diameters(European model : 20mm), 4g weights and 81mm lengths.
Scoring system
Hangung board has scoring zone(340mm diameters), and scoring section(17mm diameters) from the outside of line, there are gray line(1,2point), black line(3,4 points), blue line(5,6points), Red line(7,8 points) and Yellow line(9,10points) in order.
Height and pitching distance
Installation height is from the ground in front of tripod stand to the center of Hangung board. And pitching distance is from the base line in front of player’s foot to the ground in front of tripod stand. In the competition, Installation height pitching distance is different depending on player’s gender, age, body condition etc. (Installation height : kindergartener, school child, wheelchair disabled – 1.2m / middle, high school, undergraduate student and ordinary person - 1.35m, Pitching Distance : kindergarter: 1.5m/ school child : 2.0m/ the aged : 2.5m/ ordinary person : 3.0m or 4.0m)
Hangung Progenitor
Hu, Kwang (1962~) is Korean inventor who invents sports equipments for every one including senior, disabled, junior. also He originates HANGUNG, as head of hangung globalization laboratory and president of Korea hangung association. He was born in Seoul, Korea and specialized in mechanical engineering at In Ha University. After graduate, he specialized in health care at Korea National Sports Graduate School. He invented HANGUNG, HANGUNG PIN and BOARD since have wanted to create sport for everyone. A number of patents related HANGUNG have already been filed. Furthermore, He made KH Card which facilitates keeping and estimating both hands score. He founded Korea Hangung Association in Ansan, Korea to propagate HANGUNG to the world. Since 2010, Korea Hangung Association has hosted a National Hangung competition, established wholesome sport for all. In 2013, he published a textbook of hangung which contains Basic information of Hangung.
Competition
The 3rd National Hangung competition for senior Koria Hangung Association hosted The 3rd National Hangung competition for senior held in the BaekJe gym from October 18–19, 2012. Competition was going well with more than seven hundred seniors who is chosen over the whole country branch. 32 referee and 10 operation staff assisted the competition.

Rules
- In preliminary, quarterfinals and semifinals is played on points and over the semifinals, game is played with tournament.
- In each game set, player pitches hangung pin five times by using both hands, and should pitch within 50 seconds in each pitching.
- break time between set : Team or mixed event (within 1 minutes), individual event (within 30 seconds)
