Hallstrom Homeschool Workshops, or HHSW, is a large educational co-op of Christian parents and teachers. The purpose of Hallstrom is to provide classes to supplement, support, and encourage, but not to replace, what is being learned at home.

Board of Directors
The policy decisions of HHSW are determined by the Board of Directors, who are appointed by the Chairman of the Board. The Chairman is elected by parents who are current HHSW participants. The primary responsibility of the Board of Directors is to represent Christ and Christ-like ideas in setting forth policies for HHSW. The Board's second responsibility is to fairly represent the families and teachers who participate in Hallstrom. Teachers at HHSW function as independent contractors, working in agreement with the HHSW Board.
Student Council
Involvement in Student Council offers older students at Hallstrom many opportunities to grow in leadership and servanthood. All current 8th through 12th grade Hallstrom students are invited to join. Student Council hosts events that include hay rides, gym nights, the HHSW Spring Banquet, and community service projects through H.I.S. (Homeschoolers Impacting Society).
