Hal Dwane Mitchell (August 11, 1930 – November 27, 1993) was a professional American football offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Giants. He played college football at the University of California, Los Angeles and was drafted in the 14th round of the 1952 NFL Draft. Mitchell was also the football head coach at Brigham Young University, where he compiled an 8–22 record.
