Haarika Kanajam (b. 16th January 1995) is an Indian news presenter. She started her career as a VJ at the age of 16 in a local channel called "CTV-Hyderabad" . She currently works with the Telugu news channel Gemini News, which is a part of the Sun TV Network. She also acted in two Telugu movies: Chiru Godavalu, a film by the students of AISFM, and Kalyana Vaibhogame, a short film by the award-winning director Nandini Reddy.

Early life and education

Kanajam was born at Tenali, and did her pre-schooling at St. Ann's High School, Madinaguda. Later,she lived with her grandparents in Kuchipudi, Krishna district. Returning to Hyderabad, she started as a video hockey at CTV-Hyderabad during her +1. She studied for a degree in mass communication and journalism at the Villa Marie Degree College in Hyderabad, also working as a freelance news anchor. She also worked at TFI after acting in short films.
