The Pavilion X360 is a computer tablet hybrid by Hewlett-Packard. First announced by HP at the Mobile World Congress. The HP Pavilion x360 competes with Acer Aspire R 11, Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200, Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series 2-in-1, HP Stream x360, Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga Series and Toshiba Satellite Radius 11.

Features

The x360 computer laptop screen can rotate 360° from closed to keyboard facing upwards and screen facing downwards or vice versa to create a tablet computer.

Hardware

The notebook includes a USB 3.0 input, 2 USB 2.0 inputs, an HDMI output, 1 RJ-45 Ethernet cable input and a combined headphone and microphone input/output. It has a touchscreen.

Variants

The standard version of the x360 is $399, and has a 2.16-GHz Intel Pentium N3520 processor, 4 GB of RAM, and a 500 GB 5,400 RPM hard drive. An upgrade to 8 GB of RAM is available. The hard drive can be turned into a hybrid hard drive, and the default black case is also in red.

In 2015, a new revision is launched. Improvements include improved battery life with a Li-On Prism battery, a 2.4 GHz Intel Pentium N3700 processor and a new 360 degree hinge introduced in the HP Spectre x360. It has cases in Natural Silver, Sunset Red, Violet Purple and Minty Green. The 13.3-inch variant receives Intel Core i3 and i5 processors and Bang & Olufsen speakers. This revision is thinner than the previous generation. The hard drive is upped to 512 GB for the standard model.

Another revision for is announced in 2016. The new 11-inch model features new processors with The Intel Skylake microarchitecture and HP FastCharge. A new 15-inch variant is also launched. Natural Silver is the standard color but Modern Gold, Dragonfly Blue, Cardinal Red and Sport Purple are available.

Problems

The notebook is known to have some problems like bulkiness and poor battery life.
