Products
HMS manufactures and markets industrial communication products which connect industrial devices to different industrial networks. HMS products act as translators between robots, control systems, motors, sensors, etc. and the different industrial networks that exist on the market (fieldbuses and Industrial Ethernet). HMS also offers Remote Solutions - web-based control of field equipment such as Power Generators, Tanks, Telecom Base Stations, Buildings etc.

HMS has operations in 13 countries: Sweden (Halmstad - HQ), Germany (Karlsruhe, Ravensburg), Belgium (Brussels, USA (Chicago, Boston, Pittsburgh), Japan (Shin-Yokohama), China (Beijing), Italy (Milano), France (Mulhouse), UK (Coventry), India (Pune), Switzerland (Basel), Finland (Vantaa), and Spain (Barcelona). In addition, distributors in 50 countries resell the HMS products on local markets.
HMS was founded in 1988 by Nicolas Hassbjer (hence HMS = Hassbjer MicroSystems) and has been deemed "Export Company of the Year" by the Swedish Trade Council.
