HMS Chivalrous was a C-class destroyer of the Royal Navy launched by Denny, Dumbarton on 22 June 1945. She was sold to the US Navy in 1954, for transfer to the Pakistan Navy as a part of the Military Aid Program. She was scrapped in 1961.

History in the Royal Navy
Commissioned too late for service in the Second World War, her pennant number was soon changed to D21 from R21. She formed part of the 14th (later 1st) Destroyer Squadron for service in the Mediterranean. She saw service, along with other Royal Navy ships in preventing illegal immigration into Palestine in 1947.
History in the Pakistan Navy
Chivalrous was sold to the Pakistan Navy on 29 June 1954 and renamed Taimur. She was returned to the Royal Navy and scrapped in 1961.
