History
Sigrun Lilja, also known as Lilja, started working on building her own lifestyle brand while working in her family business. In 2007, she launched Gydja collection and currently serves as the CEO and Creative Director at the company.
In 2014, Icelandic strongman and Game of Thrones actor, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson was named the brand ambassador for Gydja Collections's Vatnajokull range of perfumes, made from the glacial water of Vatnajökull.
Products
Gydja collection gained significant popularity with the release of their EFJ range of perfumes named after the volcanic region of Eyjafjallajokull, based on volcanic ash and surrounding glaciers.
