Gwynnie Bee is an online subscription-based clothing rental service, that was created for women in 2012 to market and sell women's clothing to thoses with sizes 10-32. Members pay a flat monthly subscription fee and are able to rent a large collection of clothing.

Contents

The company was founded by Christine Hunsicker. It has worked with straight-size clothing designers to create tailored styles for plus size women. Partnered brands have included Corey, Taylor Dress, BB Dakota, Lucie Lu, and Leota.

The media has called the service Netflix of Plus-Size Fashion and Netflix for Plus Size Clothes.

Gwynnie Bee is bringing subscription clothing rental to traditional  retailers with launch of 'CaaStle' | TechCrunch

The company was founded by Christine Hunsicker and JP Singh in 2011. The first New York City headquarters was based out of Hunsicker’s apartment.

By winter 2015, over 3 million boxes were shipped.

The company has a flagship 200,000 square-foot warehouse facility in Groveport, Ohio.
