Gusman Kosanov (Russian: Гусман Косанов; May 25, 1935 - July 19, 1990) was a Soviet athlete, born in Izatulla, Kazakh SSR, who competed mainly in the 100 metres. He trained in Kishinev and later in Alma-ata at the Armed Forces Sports Society.

He competed for the USSR in the 1960 Summer Olympics held in Rome, Italy in the 4 x 100 metre relay where he won the silver medal with his team mates Leonid Bartenev, Yuriy Konovalov and Edvin Ozolin.

He was the first Olympic medallist from Kazakhstan.
