Gudur railway station, located in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, serves Gudur in Nellore district. It is a major junction station with branch lines to Arakkonam and Vellore Katpadi via Tirupati. It is under the administration of Vijayawada railway division of South Central Railway zone.

The Vijayawada-Chennai link was established in 1899.
The Chirala-Elavur section was electrified in 1980-81.
Classification
Gudur railway station is an ‘A’–category station. It is recognized as a Model station and Adarsh station in the Vijayawada railway division.
Busy station
Gudur Junction have lifts in all the platforms and Escalator on first platform. Daily 177 trains, including 90 express trains and 10 passenger trains originate and pass through this station.
Amenities
Gudur Junction has computerised reservation facilities (with all-India linkage), waiting room, retiring room, light refreshment facilities and book stall. SCR recently installed Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVM)s in Gudur station.
