Grigor Hovhannissian (Armenian: Գրիգոր Յուրիի Հովհաննիսյան, born January 26, 1971) is an Armenian diplomat. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia (2014). Armenian ambassador to the United States (2016).

    In 1994–1996 Grigor Hovhannissian was Coordinator of the "Shelter" program of UN High Commissioner for Refugees at Yerevan Office, 1996–1998 he was the assistant to the Special Coordinator, program and public information (Nairobi, Goma eastern Zaire)of UN Special Mission to the African Great Lakes region: Uganza, Zaire, Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, 1998–2000 UN Secretariat Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
