Career
Howard is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, former Board Member of the Children's Home of Virginia Baptists, and the former President of the Alumni chapter of the School of Theology at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology.
Education
Black Sacred Rhetoric
Rev. Howard is the author of Black Sacred Rhetoric: A Commentary for African American Preaching. The second, revised edition of the book will be released in 2010 by BorderStone Press, LLC and is called Black Sacred Rhetoric, The Theology and Testimony of Religious Folk Talk.
