Before Margaret Olley's death, Greg Weight had been photographing her latest paintings in preparation for her next show. The day before her death, Weight was about to load the last painting into his car, ready to take back to his studio, when she stopped him and said "No, not that one. I want to do a bit more on it. Come back tomorrow. See you tomorrow at two" and then kissed him. He received a phone call the next morning to say that she had died during the night. After her death, Weight was compelled to go back to her house and record that intimate space before anything was moved. "Photographic Studies from the Studio of Margaret Olley", was exhibited at Australian Galleries, Sydney in 2012.
