Gregory S. Clark, usually referred to as Greg Clark, was born in 1965 in Australia.
After attending Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia, where he obtained a B.Sc in mathematics and thermal studies, he undertook postgraduate studies in computer science at the University of New Mexico.
Career
He started a computer company called Dascom with labs on the Gold Coast of Queensland and Santa Cruz, California. In 1999, Dascom was acquired by IBM's Tivoli Software division.

He is currently CEO of Symantec.
He is the co-author of Security intelligence: a practitioner's guide to solving enterprise security challenges (2015).
