Green Valley Educational Institute is a co-educational, K-12 day-boarding school in Illahi bagh Srinagar, Kashmir. It is affiliated to Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education and is recognized by the State Department of Education. It was established in 1991, and now has approximately 3500 students and 350 teaching faculty on its campus.

History

The founder Mr. M Y Wani started the school as a small contribution to the society. He did not expect much but wanted the school to be second to none.

The school has a well qualified teaching as well as non teaching staff. The school has a board of academic excellence that supervises the teachers.

    The Evergreen

    The first edition of the school magazine The Evergreen was released on 7 December 2013. It contains articles written by students and teachers, news, events and activities of the school. The articles are written in English as well as Urdu and Kashmiri.
