The Greece–Sweden relations are the relations between Greece and Sweden. The first contact between the two peoples can be traced back to the 11th century. Both countries established diplomatic relations in 1852. Sweden has an embassy in Athens and eight honorary consulates; in Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Pireus, Patras, Kos, Corfu, Heraklion and Chania. Greece has an embassy in Stockholm and maintains two Honorary General Consulates in Sweden, in the cities of Malmö and Gothenburg. Both countries are members of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, and of the European Union.
