The album was recorded during the band's peak so even though the title of the album says there's only hits, songs like "Maneater" (#1 in the US and the biggest hit of their career) or "Say It Isn't So" (#1 in US clubs) are not included in the album. Stephen Thomas Erlewine, from the AllMusic page, criticized the album for the above-mentioned and gave it 3 stars.
