In 2011 Granite Horizon was the first North American firm to win the eZ Systems' honorary award. A member of the Sacramento Regional Technology Alliance (SARTA), in 2011 the company was accepted into SARTA's startup incubator program, VentureStart. Granite Horizon registered as a United States government contractor on September 7, 2012.
