Gojko Cimirot (born 19 December 1992) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Superleague Greece club PAOK and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

Early career

Cimirot started his career with Leotar, before moving Sarajevo in 2013. During his playing time with Sarajevo, he was considered as the best player in Bosnian Premier League.
PAOK

On 12 August 2015, PAOK reached an agreement with Sarajevo over the transfer of Cimirot as Sarajevo had accepted a bid in the region of €2 million. Cimirot put pen to paper on a contract worth €400,000 per year. On the opening day of the season Cimirot got injured and subsequently missed the next eight weeks of action. Upon return from his injury, he made a string of good performances which got him voted as player of the month December. Cimirot scored his first goal in a 2–2 draw against Panathinaikos.

On 21 November 2016, PAOK announced the extension of Cimirot's contract for one more season, until the summer of 2019. Cimirot won his first trophy with PAOK when they beat AEK Athens in Greek Cup final on 7 May 2017.

On 3 August 2017, Cirimot scored in a 2–0 home win against Olimpik Donetsk, corresponding to the 2nd leg of UEFA Europa League third qualifying round, with a wonderful kick from 35 meters. It was his first goal in European competitions for PAOK.
International career
Cimirot was a regular member of Bosnia and Herzegovina under-21 team.
He made his senior debut on 4 September 2014, in a friendly game against Liechtenstein.
