Godspeed the Static is a vinyl-only album by Trumans Water. It was released in 1993 by Drunken Fish Records and is the first in a series of three "Godspeed" albums, all featuring improvised music. (The other improvised albums are Godspeed the Vortex and Godspeed the Hemorrhage; Godspeed the Punchline contains full-blown, studio-recorded songs.) The first pressing of this album came in hand-painted, unique covers.[1] It was described by Stewart Mason of Allmusic as "Trumans Water at their loosest and most formless".
