The gloomwing first appeared in the first edition Monster Manual II (1983).
The gloomwing appeared in second edition for the Forgotten Realms setting in the first Monstrous Compendium Forgotten Realms Appendix (1989), and is reprinted in the Monstrous Manual (1993).
Description
A gloomwing is a large moth creature, an aerial carnivore with great speed and agility.
