Educational Approach
Global Business School Barcelona's approach to education is guided by its core concepts:
Academic Programs
Global Business School Barcelona programs follow the standards set by the European Bologna Process of Higher Education in Europe. Bachelor's degree programs consist of 180 ECTS credits (three academic years) and master's degree programs consist of 60 ECTS credits (one academic year).

Global Business School Barcelona is accredited by the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC) - recognized by the UK Home Office and approved by Ofsted, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Affiliations
Global Business School Barcelona is member of the European Council for Business Education, official academic partner of Euroaula (University of Girona), and official partner of Enterprise Lab, dedicated to promoting employability for youth. Global Business School Barcelona also offers a dual degree option in collaboration with Swiss UMEF University in Geneva.
In 2013, Global Business School Barcelona was an official academic partner of European Development Days, Europe’s premier forum for dialogue and exchange on international affairs and development cooperation.
Languages
All programs are taught in English. Students are also able to study a global language such as Spanish, Russian, or Chinese. Students who do not possess the proficiency to study in English are able to take the English Language Preparation (ELP) program before commencing their degree.
Achievements
In May 2013, Global Business School Barcelona was the only graduate school in Spain invited to participate in the International Business Ethics Case Competition (IBECC) sponsored by Loyola Marymount University. Other participating schools included the University of Florida, INSEAD (France), Warwick Business School, the University of California, Irvine, etc. Global Business School Barcelona won 1st place in its division with the University of Oxford as runner-up.
The Forte scholarship was named by GSM-Youth Services Center in Turkey as one of the initiatives providing a window to Europe for Turkish youth.
In 2011, Global Business School Barcelona became the first business school in Europe listed on the Sustainability Schools website due to its promotion of business ethics and sustainability. Its MBA program is on the list of Green MBA programs on the same website along with Yale, MIT Sloan, and Johns Hopkins University.
Financial Aid
Global Business School Barcelona provides private scholarships to outstanding prospective students with superior academic records and/or demonstrable work ethic and business potential. Financial aid is also available to current students and awarded based on need only.
