Glenn Fisher - Overcoming Your Reader's Most Immediate Objection

Glenn Fisher (born April 25, 1983) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the 5th round (148th overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

Fisher attended the University of Denver where he played four seasons (2003 - 2007) with the Denver Pioneers men's ice hockey team. In his freshman and sophomore years, Fisher helped the Pioneers reach the NCAA Frozen Four tournament, and in both seasons the Pioneers claimed the NCAA Championship. In his senior year Fisher went 13-9-2 with a 2.32 goals against average and 0.919 save percentage.

On May 5, 2007, the Edmonton Oilers signed Fisher to a one-year entry level contract, but he did not play in the National Hockey League. He instead went on to play three seasons in the ECHL, with three different teams, before hanging up his pads following the 2009–10 season.
