Glen Roy (or Glenroy) is an unincorporated community in Jackson County, in the U.S. state of Ohio.

History
A post office called Glen Roy was established in 1883, the name was changed to Glenroy in 1893, and the post office closed in 1832. The community derives its name from Andrew Roy, a state mining official who laid out the original town site.
Notable person
Lefty James, a Major League Baseball pitcher, was born at Glen Roy in 1889.
