The Centre provides a Pre-School Nursery for an average of 40 children, a Parent and Toddler Group for over 25 toddlers and their parents, a toddler playgroup, and family support classes and advice for parents. The centre is run by dedicated play and nursery workers but relies on help from volunteers.

The food bank is open to all on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10-12 noon, no appointment or recommendation is required. The food bank is maintained purely though voluntary donations from organisations and individuals. Glasgow City Mission's food banks are similar to that of Glasgow's Needy.
