Giovanni Damien Niubo (born February 19, 1999) is an American actor and model best known for his role on Lincoln Rd.

Early life
Niubo was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on February 19, 1999. Three months later his family moved to Miami, Florida, where he was raised. His father is Luis, a New York City native, and his mother is Chelin, an interior designer from Miami. His father is of Italian descent, and his mother is Cuban with Spanish ancestry. Niubo is the youngest of three siblings, and began acting at the age of seven. Niubo is Cuban-American.
2003: Othello
Niubo's first acting experience was an uncredited role as Roderigo on William Shakespeare's Othello. The play was held at the Miami-Dade County Auditorium during fall. This was when Niubo realized his love for acting, however he admits that this was originally what caused him to get into a more television based scene, as on stage acting just wasn't his thing. However, Niubo clarifies that everything that he learned that day was educational and still uses most of the techniques to this day.
2009-10: MLABL
Humble beginnings took place when it was confirmed that Niubo would be on the YouTube web series My Life as Britney Lopez, better known as MLABL. The show is a Buddy comedy centered on a 12-Year-Old and his mischief surrounded puppy. Niubo described being cast as a huge help, as it was his first real on screen experience. The show was based in Laguna Beach, California and lasted an entire year.
During spring of 2010 it was confirmed that the show would not be returning for a second season. Further information on what the reason was is unknown, however, Niubo made it clear that it's what was best for his career because he wanted to expand his name.
2011-14: Lincoln Rd
In 2011 the successful YT series Lincoln Rd. about affluent teenagers with stormy personal lives who reside in scenic Miami, Florida was released. This show became an overnight success and resulted in Niubo garnering his huge following through his role as "Gio". Lincoln Rd dropped in ratings/views dramatically during its third and fourth seasons, and ended in mid 2014.
2014-present
During July 2014, it was revealed that Niubo has departed from all web series and will be proceeding to the big screen. Niubo was signed and booked two commercials in late 2014 and has confirmed that he will be seen on the big screen in 2016, he is scheduled to begin filming on early 2016 for its initial release date.
In August 2015, Niubo attended the 2015 Teen Choice Awards.
