Astronomy events

The Space Place Observatory holds evening stargazing and daytime solar viewing ,astronomy events, out side under the natural sky ,which feature hands on telescope use, allowing plenty of time with local astronomers. The Space Place runs year round and feature special astronomical events throughout for general public, clubs, schools, local and international visitors. During an event at the Space Place , our astronomers takes the group on a virtual night sky tour of the Universe, During the year, the Space Place , astronomers help instruct and educate people in using their own telescopes on a B.Y.O Telescope night.
