Ghulam Sarwar Khan (Urdu: غلام سرور خان; born 13 October 1955) is a Pakistani politician who is currently a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, belonging to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Early life

Khan was born on 13 October 1955 in Taxila, Punjab. According to PILDAT, he was born on 13 October 1954.

He received a BA degree from the University of the Punjab.
He is an agriculturist by profession.
Political career

He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for the first time from Constituency PP-5 (Rawalpindi) in [Pakistani general election, 1985]].
He was re-elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from Constituency PP-5 (Rawalpindi) as a candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party in [Pakistani general election, 1988]].
He was re-elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from Constituency PP-5 (Rawalpindi) as a candidate of People's Democratic Alliance for the thid time in [Pakistani general election, 1990]].
He was re-elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from Constituency PP-5 (Rawalpindi) as a candidate of Pakistan People's Party for the fourth time in Pakistani general election, 1993 and became provincial minister of Punjab for Zakat and Ushr, Mineral Development and Fisheries.
He served as the provincial minister of Punjab for health from 1994 to 1996.
Khan ran for the seat of the National Assembly of Pakistan as a candidate of People's Democratic Alliance from NA-40 Rawalpindi in Pakistani general election, 1990, however was unsuccessful and defeated by Nisar Ali Khan.

He was elected as a member of National Assembly as an independent candidate from NA-53 (Rawalpindi) in Pakistani general election, 2002. In 2004, he was inducted into the federal cabinet of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and was made Minister for Labour and Manpower.
He ran for the seat of National Assembly from NA-53 (Rawalpindi) on Pakistan Muslim League (Q) in Pakistani general election, 2008 however remained unsuccessful.
He was re-elected as a member of National Assembly on a ticket of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf from NA-53 (Rawalpindi) in Pakistani general election, 2013.
