Gholam hossein Davani (Persian: غلامحسین دوانی) (born July 16, 1953) is an Iranian accountant, who has made many contributions to academic and professional activities in Iran and worldwide.

Life and work
Mr. Davani obtained his B.S. degree from Iranian Institute of advanced accounting, and his EMBA from Industrial Management Institute (IMI).
He was the managing partner of Dayarayan Auditing & Financial Services Firm (2000-2014). Dayarayan is the provider of all auditing and business services in Middle East by RSM international. He is currently the executive manager of Dayarayan Management & Consulting Services (2009-2013), and Gholam-Hossein Davani is also a member of the High Council of Iranian Institute of Certified Accountants(IICA - IFAC Member). Furthermore, Mr.Davani was an ex-member of the High Council of Iranian Association of Certified Public Accountants (IACPA - IFAC Member) from 2003 till 2006. In addition, he was editor-in-chief of the HESABDAR (Accountant), the monthly magazine of the Iranian Institute of Certified Accountants (1999-2005). Mr. Davani has been a member of several profession committees in IACPA including The Committee of Anti-Money Laundry and is highly active in the Tax Committees. Mr. Davani is a top tax adviser of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines & Agriculture (TCCIM). Mr.Davani is also a Professor in Iranian universities and also a teacher in School of Management and Economics of Sharif University. Mr. Davani has published over 350 articles in accounting and business journals and has held over 98 presentations throughout the country. He has also published fourteen books: Corporation Accounting,Tax Accounting, Guide on Value Added Tax , Shares Valuations, Collection off Direct Tax, Collection of Commerce Code, Collection of Labour Law & Social Security , Cheque Law, Unabridged Applied Dictionary of Accounting & Auditing , Globalization, global corporation and global Governance , World Future " Rise and Fall of Top Economic Power in 2060.two of these books are translated into other languages .
