George Wienbarg III (born November 16, 1950 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States) is an American journalist, actor and entrepreneur. As a journalist he has been a prolific correspondent for the Christian Post. He is named for his paternal uncle George J Wienbarg Jr. who died in a car accident in 1947 at the age of 28 .

As an actor, he has appeared in the films "Far Rockaway" (2011) and "79 Parts" (2016), both directed by Ari Taub. As an entrepreneur he first marketed the discarded original Hollywood sign itself in collectible pieces with Hank Berger then trademarked the Hollywood sign for use as the logo in a line of clothing he created with designer Viola Park later licensing it from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
A descendant of Buffalo Bill Cody, he made a documentary with David Capurso for the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming about his famous relative and Cody's then 106 year old niece, Alice Frederici Reneau ( 1901 - 2006), Wienbarg's late aunt.
At the Christian Post, Wienbarg, reported on many topics some of which caused controversy including during the Amanda Knox catharsis.
