George Holmes Challies (August 26, 1884 – 1976) was an Ontario merchant and political figure. He represented Dundas and then Grenville—Dundas in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as a Conservative and then Progressive Conservative member from 1929 to 1955.

He was born in Winchester, Ontario, the son of James G. Challies, and educated at the Ontario College of Pharmacy. In 1914, he married Jean G. Gibson. Challies was reeve of Morrisburg in 1929. He was president of the Dominion Toilet Brush Company and Dominion Coach Lines. Challies served as Provincial Secretary and Registrar from 1931 to 1934 and as Minister without Portfolio from 1943 to 1948 and from 1949 to 1955. Challies was also a member of the Ontario Hydro-Electric Power Commission (later Ontario Hydro).
