Garth Martens is a Canadian poet. He was the winner of the Bronwen Wallace Memorial Award in 2011, and his debut collection Prologue for the Age of Consequence was a shortlisted nominee for the Governor General's Award for English-language poetry at the 2014 Governor General's Awards.

Originally from Kelowna, British Columbia, he currently resides in Victoria. He is a graduate in creative writing from the University of Victoria. Martens has also served on the editorial board of The Malahat Review.
