Garnett Sue Stokes (born December 20, 1955 in Washington, D.C.) is the interim Chancellor, as well as the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of the University of Missouri. Previously, Stokes served as the Provost for Florida State University from August 2011 to January 2015, as well as serving as the interim president of Florida State from February to November 2014. She previously served as the Dean of the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences for seven years at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.
