Business

The primary occupation is rice cultivation and fishing. Ganugabanda has 1000 acres of paddy fields and 1200 acres of fishing ponds. These are occupations support 500 to 600 families.

Here,in this village some self motive farmers also built their own Godowns for rice storage facility, which are really very attractive to see for model gowdons, if any farmer would like to see.

Fish are exported to Huzurnagar, Kolkata and nearby villages.

In addition agriculture supply, general stores, textile show rooms, 2 rice mills and water plants operate there.
