Gamasb (Persian: گاماسب, also Romanized as Gāmāsb; also known as Fāmāst, Gāmāsp, and Pamas) is a village in Gamasiyab Rural District, in the Central District of Nahavand County, Hamadan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,028, in 231 families.

History
Gamasb is one of the oldest existing villages in Nahavand County.

Arabic music
Famast also gives its name to the musical mode (maqam) Nahwand in Arabic, Iranian and Turkish and Lorestan music. This mode is known for its wide variety of Western sounding melodies.
