2011-2013 renovations
In the summer of 2011, construction began on a new school building. The project added to the wing built in 2007 and included renovations to that wing. A limited amount of student parking was available at the time because the new building was constructed on the old student lot. The project was completed in time for the beginning of the 2013-14 school year.
State champions
Women's Basketball

More recently, the swimming & diving team, with athletes of different skill levels, has been one of the larger teams in the Montgomery County Public Schools. A season consists of 2 Scrimmages (one at the beginning of the season and one before the divisional meet), 5 Dual Meets, 1 Divisional Meet, 1 Metros Meet, 1 Regional Meet, and 1 State Meet. The Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Swim Meet (commonly referred as Metros) is an invitational meet for swimming and diving teams from the D.C. area private schools and the Montgomery County Public Schools.
