Gadsden High School (GHS), originally named Valley High School, is a public high school in the city of Anthony, New Mexico in Doña Ana County, New Mexico. Gadsden High School is part of the Gadsden Independent School District; its colors are maroon and gold. Of the four high schools in the Gadsden School District, Gadsden High has the largest student population.

Gadsden High serves as the high school for the surrounding towns of Mesquite, Vado, Berino, La Mesa, San Miguel, Chamberino, Anthony as well as various unincorporated areas in the region. Gadsden High School won the high school state football championships in 1953, 1954, 1955, 1961, and 1962. The Panther volleyball team won state two years in a row in 2011 and 2012.
Namesake
The school is named for the Gadsden Purchase, mainly because the school and the surrounding area mark the easternmost tip of the 29,670-square-mile (76,800 km2) land acquisition.
Athletics
GHS competes in the New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA), as a class 6A school in District 3. In 2014, NMAA realigned the state's schools in to six classifications and adjusted district boundaries. In addition to Gadsden High School, the schools in District 3-6A now include: Oñate High School, Las Cruces High School, Mayfield High School, Centennial High School, Hobbs High School, and Carlsbad High School.
