Gabriel Caste (born February 16, 1989) is an American film and television actor, specializing in action, horror, and sci-fi. Caste is also releasing his directorial debut film, The Last Time I Saw Him.

Early life

Gabriel Caste was born Gabriel Luis Castellanos Jr. in the Somerset section of Franklin Township, Somerset County, New Jersey. He spent his childhood in Middlesex and Hampton, New Jersey with his Cuban father, Gabriel Luis Castellanos, Sr., his Italian mother, Sue Ann Collins-McHugh, and his sister, Kat Schmidberger. After Caste had moved out, his parents adopted a son, Brian Luis Castellanos.

Education

Caste attended elementary school at Von E. Mauger Middle School and middle school at Ethel Hoppock Middle School Caste began acting at North Hunterdon High School in Annandale, New Jersey, where he was involved in various Shakespearean stage plays. Caste has a BA in Theater from Temple University, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

2009-present

Caste has made several T.V. appearances, such as featured roles on TLC's Sex Sent Me to the ER. In 2012, Caste worked on After Earth, alongside Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Zoe Kravitz, and Sophie Okonedo. The M. Night Shyamalan-directed film was released in 2013.

Music

After graduating highschool, Caste was involved with music, touring down the east coast of America. Orchard and the Axe was a death metal band, in which Caste played bass guitar and back-up vocals. After leaving this band, he founded a solo Crunkcore performance, called Fat Ghost.
