Gabriel Barcia-Colombo is an American video artist, best known for creating living video installation pieces of "miniature people" encased inside ordinary objects such as suitcases and blenders.

He attended the USC School of Cinema-Television and is currently a Professor of Media Arts at New York University. In 2008, he was awarded the NYFA grant for video. In 2012, he was made a TED fellow. In 2016 Gabriel created The Hereafter Institute which premiered at the Los_Angeles_County_Museum_of_Art as part of the Art and Technology Lab.
Gabriel is the grandson of Spanish poet and writer José_Rubia_Barcia
