Fakhraddin Gulnara Aliyeva is an Associate Professor of linguist, with a specialization in Turkic languages. Aliyeva has a PhD in linguistics.
Fakhraddin Gulnara Aliyeva was born in Azerbaijan on June 10, 1983. His father was an engineer, and his mother was a teacher. He graduated high school 286 in his class from the Yasamal district of Baku in 2000 with no honors.
In 2000-2004 he received his bachelor's degree from Baku State University. In 2004 he enrolled in the Turkic philology faculty of Baku State University, receiving a masters in education with honors in 2006.
In December 2006, he transferred to the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan to study at the post-graduate Institute of Linguistics. The Turkish language, his specialization, had only recently been included in the department. He defended his thesis on October 20, 2009.
From 2010-2011, he worked at the Institute of Linguistics of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences as a junior researcher of Turkish languages. After 2011, he transferred to Baku State University where he would become an associate professor of Turkish and Azerbaijani languages.
He has published a total of 17 scientific articles and four books.
