Funastrum is a genus of flowering plant now in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae, formerly in Asclepiadaceae. The name is derived from the Latin word funis, meaning "rope", and astrum, alluding to the twining stems. Members of the genus are commonly known as twinevines.
