Fukushima-juku (福島宿, Fukushima-juku) was the thirty-seventh of the sixty-nine stations of the Nakasendō, as well as the fifth of eleven stations on the Kisoji. It is located in the present-day town of Kiso, in the Kiso District of Nagano Prefecture, Japan.

History

Its tax and inspection (関所 sekisho) location were located at the northern entrance of the post town. In addition to being the midpoint on the Kisoji, it was also around the midpoint between Edo and Kyoto, making it known as one of the four large sekisho in the Edo period.
