The plot consists on adult-themed, intentionally shocking but funny stories involving a group of five 9 years-old school friends including a punk boy who wears no clothes, a politically correct but extremely unlucky fruit-boy, a drug-addicted depressed girl and a witty transsexual girl. Fudêncio e Seus Amigos became popular among Brazilian youngsters for a short period for its gallows humour style and cameos from various personalities.

Characters

The main characters are 9-year-old students from a public school whose traits refer to many adult-themed stereotypes.

  • Fudêncio - The show's purported protagonist, whose look is based on a doll used in MTV Brasil: he is freaky-looking with a dark painted eye, always naked and with thumbtacks nailed to his bare head. Nothing bad seems to happen to him, no matter how clearly imoral and evil he is, what makes him a very wicked character, often taking advantage of Conrado and being unfairly acclaimed instead of him. Intead of speaking, he utters mee-mee-mee sounds which have a meaning only understood by the other characters.
  • Conrado - The show's actual central character, despite the name suggests it to be Fudêncio. A generally well intentioned, pro-justice, politically correct persimmon-looking boy who is the most common target of Fudêncio's wickedness. He is clearly brighter and smarter than the other characters and unlike Fudêncio, his intentions are good and just and he has typically an unfair end, getting arrested, tortured or miserably failing on his rightful objectives, losing all his glory and acclamation for Fudêncio.
  • Funérea - A gothic, drug-addicted, depressive, sarcastic girl who bears a profound despise for life in general. She almost never smiles and appears to be friends with Fudêncio. Visually, she reminds Gaz of Invader Zim, with a purple hair and black clothes.
  • Zé Maria - An apparently transsexual blond, feminine girl who is the frequently subject of thriller about how she was designated at birth. She is also Conrado's love interest in the earlier episodes.
  • Popoto - A 34-year-old fat, mentally ill and completely witless repeating student, who is still in the fourth grade since he was a child. He has green emo hair covering his eyes, and wears a black Che Guevara T-shirt.
  • Safeno - A pale, profoundly sick boy who suffers from numerous diseases and is said to be very close to death. He is always carrying a stretcher supplied with a serum.
  • Neguinho - A black, lately rough-voiced boy who reflects common black stereotypes in Brazil.
  • Teacher Cudi - The ugly, red-haired, old female teacher of the previously mentioned students. She is very rude and often scolds Conrado, while expressing pleasantness towards Fudêncio.
  • Officers - Two incompetent policemen working in a police station near the primary school, who frequently arrested Conrado for unfair reasons in the earlier episodes.
