Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is the former name of the organisation that runs Frimley Park Hospital a 750-bed NHS hospital with 24-hour A&E and regional hyper acute services, in Frimley, Surrey. The Trust became Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust on 1 October 2014 when it acquired the neighbouring Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HWPH) under a mutually agreed arrangement supported by the local healthcare community, the Department of Health and NHS England, aimed at improving standards at HWPH after it was placed into special measures by Care Quality Commission inspectors.
