Frederick "Fred" Brindle (January→March 1909) birth registered in Sculcoates district, was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s, and 1940s, playing at representative level for England, and Yorkshire, and at club level for Hull Kingston Rovers, Huddersfield, and Castleford, as a loose forward/lock, i.e. number 13, during the era of contested scrums.
