Biography
Author Frank Matthews is a native of Brooklyn, New York. Matthews categorizes his own work as "true fiction," fictional takes on factual events. Matthews self-published his first novel, Respect the Jux. Over 20,000 copies of the book were sold, leading to publisher Simon & Schuster releasing the book in September 2010.
In September 2010, director F. Gary Gray (The Italian Job, Set It Off, Friday, Law Abiding Citizen) bought the TV and film rights to Respect The Jux.
