Fox Chapel Country Day School is an Independent nonsectarian coeducational primary day school located in Fox Chapel outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1947 as a nursery and kindergarten by a group of parents in an agreement with the Fox Chapel Community Church, the school opened in 1948 as the Fox Chapel Community Church Nursery School. In present day the school, no longer formally affiliated with the Fox Chapel Episcopal Church, offers pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and first through fifth grades on a heavily wooded campus in the Fox Chapel parkland near Shady Side Academy and the Pittsburgh Field Club. The school is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools.
