Forward Operating Base (FOB) Sharana was a large forward operating base with many amenities, including a United Service Organizations installation. It is based in Paktika Province, Afghanistan.

Opening on 1 March 2011, The SPC Jordan Byrd Trauma Center provided combat medical services for the region. The center was named in honor of Specialist Jordan Byrd, a Task Force Red Currahee medic from Company A, 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, who had died in YahYa Khel District the previous October while saving another soldier.

The base was handed to the Afghan Government on 1 October 2013.
