Campuses

Forth Valley College has three main campuses located in the towns of Alloa, Falkirk and Stirling, with an additional community campus operating within the Raploch area of Stirling.

Alloa Campus

The Alloa Campus officially opened in October 2011.

Falkirk Campus

The Falkirk campus is the largest of all the campuses, possessing a number of different buildings. These include the main building which stands 4 stories tall and includes a canteen, gym, the library and on the top floor the science classrooms. There is also two single story wooden buildings, the Carron & Grange buildings. The campus is also home to a practice plant which allows Chemical Engineering students to gain practice in certain types of operations. The college is located close to the ground of Falkirk FC, Central retail park and the border of Falkirk and Grangemouth. The college has drawn up plans to build a new campus in Falkirk on the site of the now demolished middlefield building, construction is expected to begin in 2017. As of 2016, the student union has been moved into the main building.

Stirling Campus

The Stirling Campus officially opened in September 2012. The campus has its own restaurant which is called The Gallery. The restaurant is run by students and is open to the public for its lunch and dinner menus.

Raploch Community Campus

The Raploch Community Campus opened in October 2007.

Statistics

Forth Valley College annually enrolls over 13,500 students and offers courses from access to degree level. The College has eight teaching departments - Access and Progression; Applied Science and Mechanical Engineering; Business; Creative Industries; Construction; Care, Health and Sport; Electrical Instrumental and Chemical Engineering; and Hospitality and Salon Services. The Business Development department also offers professional development training courses.
